Good afternoon.

Well this is rather lovely. Courtesy of wwwspurslegends who uploaded it just yesterday onto YouTube. Apparently shot by the welsh Wizard himself, Mr. Cliff Jones.

Are you able to fill in the gaps? Where and when was it shot? How many Tottenham greats can you recognise?

Enjoy.

Post November 1961 given that Greaves is in it but it looks like a collection of shoots. I thought I saw Frank Saul and he was not a first team player until 63 or 64.

What strikes me most is how at ease they all are in each other’s company. You can feel the ‘esprit de corps’. Same with the 80′s boys as the marvellous “Boys from White Hart Lane” book recounts. The guys socialised together then. Nowadays the only time you’ll get two or three footballers together is when they’re all hanging out the back of some long taloned orange creature.

P.s i realise that the last line makes me sound like an old fart plus some weirdo Travis Bickle a like. But it can’t be helped. Society has changed hugely in even 20 years and our footballers are representative of that change.

I just don’t understand how you can say Berbatov was badly treated? That bastard held the club to ransom at a time when PSB was also illegally tapped up by Liverpool leaving us with no time to get replacements and buggering our season before a ball had been kicked! What he did was beyond the pale, and I doubt if Levy’s forgotten the gloating from SAF live on Sky news,I bloody well haven’t. Don’t forget also, he was supposed to be meeting with City not Utd, and effectively went on strike, rather than play for us.

Its the last time ANY striker went on Strike for us (Case dismissed)

We seem to be the last time to launch our new kit. Is that because we dont know which players will be with us next year?
As far as i recall, kit launches have usually included Bale, Modders and those types…

Following on from Felch (Always a dangerous tactic) but I really do wonder how Whiskey Breath is allowed to get away with this tripe every season. This twunt, who was kind enough to supply his email details, writes as if the deal were done already, price agreed and everyone shaking hands. The nerve is unbelievable.
