Guten Ahbend.

I tell you this much, the natives are friendly. I walked passed a couple in the street both tucking into something I wanted. As this was in one of Harrogate’s many nice side streets and not a nudist beach, I fearlessly approached. ‘Hello, I’m Lee Marvin. Now, where did you get those beauties?”

Straight in there, my friend!” replied a righteous man in a fleece mopping his meated sweat brow whilst pointing at a nearby doorway.  Barely a few minutes after noon this was and within less than a minute I was the proud owner of a roasted pork bap with stuffing, a smudge of apple sauce and smattering of crackling.  A trip to York a while back had yielded something similar. This was actually more better.

And so to young Giovanni and as per the point made in the headline, this ought to be regarded as a new signing by rights. Hint, hint, Arry. C’mon Mr Redschnapps, the boy’s got two feet. You know it makes sense.

Shame he hasn’t got the brain to apply the right attitude to be worth giving a chance to in the Europa league.

You have to show through your training and professional attitude that you are worth giving a starting berth to you do not moan that the world owes you a living and nobody ever gives me a chance.

He has done nothing to show he is worth one and his outburst is clearly him telling the club “I don’t want to play for you.”

    Try growing up.

Whatever his behaviour he has been harshly treated. At least find a match in which to give him the 65 minutes we only ever get out of VdV before he stomps off down the tunnel. Hardly great team spirit from the injury prone and difficult to accommodate Dutchman.

    Plod.

You spent most of the last thread moaning about the players attitude.

He is young and may have made a few mistakes. However, his last manager (who was in charge of Racing Santander at the time), was very interested in signing him for his new team, Sevilla.

So his attitude cannot have been so bad can it?

Oh no, it can’t have been. Thank you, and goodnight.

You are welcome to be suduced by 2 goals, I am not. If he had the attitude of Hernandez at Man Utd there wouldn’t be a problem, but he doesn’t.

He prefers to fly to Spain and go to bars, no wonder he was desperate to go to Seville and not Udinese who bid 3 times as much for him.

Prove you are worth a chance and you will get one. He simply hasn’t proved it.

You don’t get promotion to be “given a chance” you have to prove you are worth it and it shouldn’t be any different for him. He is over hyped and has been very average when he has played. Like Krancjar he is defensively poor so his options are somewhat limited.

Gio is a great kid- very talented. Harry will find out if he ever gives him a pat on the back and a chance to start and finish a game.

He could prise Lennon out of the team if Lennon takes too long to recover from his injury. And he could fill in admirably for VdV while he is out. Further, I think he’d add a little sparkle to Luka’s game with his vision and constructive play. And heaven knows, we all want to see the sparkle back in Modric….

Well there was too shocks during the Transfer window or should i call it the selling window because we just sell and buy fuck all. Our Team is starving to death selling our Champions league players for championship players making Delaps job easier by selling a 6ft7 target to launch his missile throwers at that’s six points lost and six at Villa three at Stoke. We should be glad Keane is in America and Dosantos is in our reserves. We are in for a long relegation battle and Wolves will be another shock along with Liverpool unless Harry sacks our medical staff and and joins the North West quick quick tempo i warned you all what is rife in my area well you have seen it in the quicker boots of four goals Dzecko and is mates and Hamstrung Wellbeck who new would crumble and Rooney and Young will follow shortly along with Liverpool’s High Tempo players. We sold players on the back of false Tempo and that made me very sad and mad on Holiday watching us buying an English Palacios who will get back up to speed at Stoke just like Woodgate we need too Sack Harry Hotspurs for not heading my warning Harry R for allowing Levey to take the piss by selling players he said where staying Crouch and the medicals staff for making us play in 5th gear when the rest are in 6th. Sad mad Davspurs in the no and ignored 3-0 5-1 are just the start of TEMPO TAMPERING

Just Look who are in the top four Man Utd ex drug runner Ferdinand City Toure Chelsea Mutu Liverpool the whole team reported the year they came second the reason no one noes it was hidden by Barwick boss od the FA who was a supporter. So my reason for saying Crouch will score against us is Dzecko Welbeck both scored with there heads and i will bet any money he scores against Spurs.

    Jimbo Reply:

Crouch is crap. Keane was a class act for most of his spurs career. We won’t be in a relegation battle. Dos Santos has more talent in his left testicle than any striker we’ve had since Berbatov and Keane (apart from Adebayor, but his main attibutes are strength and pace). And Parker is a hell of lot better than Wilson was in the last two years.

This is your corner City are a fantastic fast flowing great defending team whose goalkeeper chews gum to help the ball stick in his hands, and Dzecko who scored one offside goal in 15 games has scored six and four against Spurs. You right on these blogs we are going to sign this player and that player this player is crap and Harry plays the wrong team. But when i tell you what i no you all come up with shit comment like your mental and so on well who the fuck do you think iam anti drug moralistic bookworm no just someone who stumbled on a team using energy drugs to help them defend and attack in 6th gear for longer a very potent tool to have and if we get it i will stop my rant because 5=1 wont happen and 3-0 because if we don’t match Liverpool Utd City you can bet your life Wolves will turn us over with players running allover us and we will be stuck in the bottom three till the Window opens . We sold players on the back of a season with record injuries record shocks and record relegation battle fueled by energized teams we finished 5th with Huddlestones goal against Arsenal Kranjars goals Crouch Blackburn goal or it cold have bean 8th behind Everton and Liverpool Levey and Harry are in the ignorant corner but we have not wasted our millions chasing fourth because Leeds payed the penalty for trying that method City and Liverpool have spent but are making sure they gel quickly by all running at the same speed for 90 mins trust me this is 100 percent right and deadly. One last note Fletcher played for Scotland and is now flying without any games under his belt and you could see he was a Utd 6th gear player.

For the people saying he’s not done the business, he has when played up front, for spurs and Mexico. He played preseason up front last year for us and was unreal, played up front for Mexico at the world cup, was class. When it comes to competition Harry inexplicably shunts him out to right midfield and then he gets berated. Idiot. Play him up front and give him a run and he would be a classy player that would score, move well and lay on goals like Keano did for many years. He’s different class to Defoe but Harry loves his brainless English forwards.

Look at the City game he got one cross in and was more defensive that day ridiculous. I know we all feel we could do a better job but I truly believe there is an exception here. The time I though he (Johnny Two Saints) looked best was when he was playing an “inside forward” type role a bit like VdV does; against yanks in pre-season a year or two back iirc. He made a few creative runs and totally disrupted the opposition defence who didn’t seem to know what to do with him. However his strengths are also his weaknesses in that I’m not sure his team mates have a clue what he’s up to either!

A word on 3MP; I don’t think the selling of him was a blow to HR, it may well have been a trade off for Parker with DL saying take your pick Harold, but with Ade installed, I don’t think HR gave a toss and might actually have been the driver to offload him; let’s face it that header he missed against Citeh (which I reckon I’d have got never mind Harry’s missus) would have changed the game a good bit at that stage. Maybe Harry finally got as fed up as the rest of us at seeing that gormless “how did that not go in” smile, with such water-torture repetitiveness.

However I do think not all is well at WHL in that HR is still frothing-off at having a player who’s not happy. Its like a game being played through the media of how Harry can needle DL, all with the practiced deniability of the media darling he is. How long will DL let this go on?

HR is the manager and its his job to manage the players regardless of their mental ‘readiness’: if any one of them is not ready, he has to figure out what it takes to motivate them and get them sorted out: that might include fining them a couple of weeks wages every time they refuse to put their boots on. However I suspect that Modric is not playing up and will knuckle down into the job, he seems to have a good relationship with his team mates and a few wins will make all the diference in everybodies attitude.

The big job now is to rein in the Chavs and I really think Levy should make a formal complaint against their continued pursuit of Modic, which happened after he had publicly announced that Modric was not for sale and no futher offers were welcome. Without some sanction and threat of further sanction (ie points deduction) we will have the whole thing all over again come Christmas……that’s already being reported!

I think we need a public statement labelling this as what it is: cheating. The deliberate destabilisation of the playing capacity of another team must be covered somewhere in the rules! The Chavs are already well known for this and given the FAs love affair with ManU might just jump at the chance to bark a bit…..maybe vent some frustration at the whole Blagger affair.

We need now to start knuckling under and getting the harmony back into the football, Protracting the Modric thing is counterproductive and I am getting a bit sick of this brinkmanship HR is playing, using the team/squad and blackmail material….. a bit like using the kids as a weapon in a divorce!

Come on HR sort out your own head and get on with the job you are being paid for!
